Boulder Lake Lodge

This place. Wow. So beautiful! The property is amazing. The rooms were very clean. But my favorite aspect was the sweetest hosts that run it. The people working here are something else! So friendly, helpful with anything. Best crew, honestly. I’ve attached a picture of the people who made our stay so fabulous. Thanks for the greatest family weekend getaway! We will cherish the memories.

The staff are fantastic! We booked a wilderness pack out & while the wilderness presented us with some challenges the staff went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed every bit of it. Highly recommend Boulder Lake Lodge! See you ladies next year

The Lodge is clean, the rooms airy and neat, the food is fine, the bar is top notch, the setting spectacular, the scenery on the adventures is amazing, the fishing is superb. But, what makes Boulder Lake Lodge Special is the Service. The team Carlie Eldridge has put together makes BLL tick! Every wrangler knows their business and how to make clients comfortable and have fun, even as they work hard to keep the animals in top condition. Our experience with BLL, two years running, cannot be topped anywhere else! Thanks for the memories Carlie and crew! A special shout out to Annessa for an outstanding adventure in 2022!

Personnel are terrific! I’ve been here twice and both times was most pleased with both managers, Kodi and Carlie. Competent with horses and packing , great company on the horse pack trip. They know what they are doing and with stock that is important. Lodge is rustic and comfortable. Beds comfortable with new high quality linens. Lots of recent turnover so dining room was closed. I very much hope these two young women bring the lodge back to life. I certainly recommend it!

My daughter and I took a trail ride with Karly as our guide in June 2024, she was AMAZING we rode Smokevand Jackson. My daughter and I both know how to ride so the ride was an absolute blast! Karly was fun to ride with and a knowledgeable horse woman, the horses were healthy, well cared for and energetic, they obviously liked thier job! Best experience I've ever had on a trail ride! 10/10!

My family& friends recently held a celebration of life and stayed at the lodge for multiple days. In all the ciaos of life, and this tough situation, Carlie, her staff, and the lodge provided the absolute best experience we could have hoped for. In the months leading up - the planning was simple. Even with over 40 expected guests, all the rooms full, and people coming in from Florida to Hawaii, the timing and accommodations were spot on! We fallowed up the celebration event with a day horse trip, and this also far exceeded expectations. Everything was ready, easy, and the guides added to the experience instead of just along for the ride. My gratitude can not be expressed enough and I already have plans in the works for another outing next summer with the same Boulder Lake Lodge people and activities in mind! Thank you

We enjoyed a 3 night stay here over July 4, 2017. We wanted to escape CO holiday crowds, and this place was perfect. Beautiful location, the staff were very nice and helpful, and our two horse rides were highly enjoyable (including for our 6 yr-old daughter). The website needs updating, and the kitchen could offer less costly food options (fortunately we were able to bring some of our own microwave meals); Even so, 5 stars.

My husband and I did a half-day horseback riding trail with a picnic lunch and it was so much fun! The hike up and down the mountain had breath taking views and our picnic spot had a beautiful lake scene. Our wrangler Ashley was so nice and a great guide, we had an amazing time and hope to do it again!
